Experience writing is an integral part of the
PSS approach to teaching reading and writing
The PSS approach to teaching reading and writing is an eclectic approach combining systematic teaching of sound-letter relationship with the language experience approach and reading of small books. This method is evolved by the founder of Pragat Shiskan Sanstha who is also a linguist . The method is scientific and also appeals to the child’s emotional life and interests. It has taught thousands of poor rural children to read and write over the last two decades and more through our outreach programme of Reading-Writing Improvement.
We have included the primers Apan Vachu Ya part I and II and a training film in this programme. To watch the training film click the following link.
